Celebrate Holidays | Vicki Parker

Hi foxy friends, it's Vicki here today with my final layout using the November FoxBox and I am going full on Christmas for this one.... I started by adding some Shimmerz paints to a piece of white cardstock. I used reds and blues to add a nice base to my cut file. The cut file is from Hip Kit Club and I backed the stockings with some patterned papers from the PinkFresh Home for the Holidays collection. I cut the branch separately on some green paper to add a bit of contrast. I then added some additional embellishments which I fussy cut from a paper in the collection and some houses from the die cut pack. I also added some puffy stickers for a bit of dimension. I finally added my celebrate pe

Wonderful Winter Moments

Hi Fox Friends, I'm sharing my latest layout for November which uses some gorgeous frosted Perspextives. This set is in the November Fox

Together at our house!

Hi there Foxy Friends! I love this time of year when I've finally made my choices from the Christmas collections available and Bramble Fox has all it's gorgeous seasonal perspectives available in store! I'm currently working with the Crate Paper Snowflake collection and I love it!! It's not the usual traditional Christmas colours which is perhaps why it appeals to me! I'm sharing a 12x12 layout using a black and white photograph taken last Christmas. When the colours in a photo don't match the papers I want to use I'll often convert it to black and white. I started by choosing the paper I wanted to show as my border and then using watercolour paints I added a rough tartan effect block to the

Document December Part 1| Morag Cutts

Hi there Bramble Fox Friends. I have started an album for December this year. Although I have no intention of doing the whole December Daily thing, I will try to take a few photos and record some memories in the album. The Carta Bella ringbound album has a very cute front cover, so I simply added the Document December Perspextive which has a lovely shimmer. Being minimalist on the cover will ensure the album is durable. The inside of the album has been decorated to disguise the bold red and black pattern which didn't really co-ordinate with the Snowflake (Crate Paper) collection that I am using. I made a vellum pocket for storing extra photos, etc. The pocket is decorated with a cute little

Just hanging!

Hi there foxy friends!, It's Wendy up on the blog today sharing a LO using the beautiful word perspextives from the November Fox Box, enabling me to scrap some of last years Christmas photos. I look back with fond memories and feel excited for this Christmas which will soon be upon us.! I used a mini snow flake stencil to create the background of the LO as we were in a bit of a blizzard at the time in the cable car! The cut file is from Silhouette studio and is called Funicular which was just perfect for these photos. It came as a single car and I managed to replicate and weld them together to produce a string of cars, I then decided to cut my photos so we could actually be in the cars as we

A December Tradition | Julie Taylor

Hi Foxy friends, I can't believe it's November already & rushing towards Christmas!! I love Christmas but never seem to have enough time & always way too much to do, so having festive perspextives in the shop is a godsend as Christmas scrapping can be done now & helps to get us in the mood. We have a few Christmas traditions but one of them is that the girls always get new pyjamas on Christmas Eve (ready for Santa!) & even though they are now in their 20's they still want to continue with this tradition, which I'm more than happy to go along with. I started this page by going old school... with a bit of iris folding!! I learnt this back in my card making days but it was always strange & weir

Autumn Texture | Morag Cutts

Hi there, Autumn is definitely in full swing here. I love walking the dog when the days are bright and the trees are so pretty. I often walk my dog with a friend who has two dogs. The Puggle (Pug x Beagle) is rather cheeky so I couldn't resist grabbing a snap with him. I totally love leaves on a layout (you may have noticed) - they add great texture and interest. I die-cut out a heap from some old patterned Crate papers. I layered some leaves around my photo, including tucking them underneath. The memories Perspextive is part of the Bright set. There are two sizes - large which are ideal for scrapbooking and Documenters size aimed at journal and mini books. I've used the Documenter size to g

Trick or Treat | Niki Rowland

Hey everyone, this is Niki with a new spooky Halloween layout to share today. I’ve used the Trick or Treat set from the shop which I had in black. I’ve used the title as well as the two accessories that come in the set too: the witch on a broom and the crow. I wanted to scrap these photos of my children Trick or Treating, and therefore the Trick or Treat title was perfect for this layout. I’ve used Crate Paper Hey Pumpkin collection for this layout and mostly just used one sheet of paper. It was the one with all the houses. I fussy cut them all out and layered them in one huge cluster along the bottom of my layout. I also fussy cut out some little characters from the same sheet and some spoo

December Sparkle

Christmas has arrived in my craft room this week! I have lots of festive layouts in the pipeline! I cut out a star for another layout using my Silhouette Cameo, the remaining cardstock had the star shape cut out and I used it with strips of paper to create my background for this layout. The papers are from my all time favorite collection by Crate Paper - Snow and Cocoa. It was a little time consuming glueing all the strips together but I’m pleased with the effect. I added a strip of corrugated card and also some sequins for a little extra dimension. Around the edge I added some punched stars and some star Perspextives, then I added my photo, a chipboard tree and the “December” and “Sparkle”

Halloween Fun

Halloween is such a fun time of the year. My kids are too old to trick or treat so I have to rely on more grown up photos. I've gone for a more sophisticated look for my layout. I have a bunch of old stamps featuring chandeliers. After stamping them around, I hand drew beaded garlands to add more detail. To add a little colour, I used Seedless Preserves Distress Oxide ink. I then added tiny black gems to add a little dimension. I stamped a border and then layered lace under my photos. I also stamped the chandeliers to tie in with the top left hand corner. To create the garlands, I drew around the scallops of the torn border template using a fine liner. I then handrew the small black 'beads'.
