Happy Days | February Fox Box

Hi Foxy friends! Emilie here to share with you a layout I created using the light bulb Perspextives and the jar perspextive from the February Fox box, a couple of Heart Perspextives and the gorgeous Fox Cut #6 stencil. I started by spreading some Heidi Swapp Mint metallic texture paste through the Fox Cut #6 stencil - it's so versatile i can’t stop using it! I clustered my jar Perspextive, heart Perspextive, flower cut files and ephemera on top of my mixed media and around my photograph which I had matted. When clustering I use sticky foam pads to add volume and interest. I finished the page with my title which is made of the Perspextive light bulbs from the February Fox Box and mounted a Pi

Happy Days traveler’s notebook spread with Virginia

Hi Foxy friends, Virginia here with a new project and a process video to share with you. For this one, I created a quite simple spread in my traveler’s notebook and I used the lovely light bulbs included in the February Fox Box (yes, it’s true, I love light bulbs! :D). I covered the left side of the spread with beautiful pattern paper – full of colourful cameras – and I also added a strip of it along the external edge of the right page. I backed my two photos with white cardstock, so that they could stand out better against the busy pattern, and I glued them down. I left the right side of the spread quite minimalistic: I embellished it just with three die cuts. I placed the two light bulbs,

Tying the knot!

Hi there Foxy Friends! Just a week ago, my youngest daughter was a bridesmaid for the first time and I decided to scrap some of the photos she'd sent me for my final February layout. I loved the heart frame in the February Fox Box but red just didn't fit with the colour scheme! Here's how I went about creating my page..... The Heidi Swapp Honey & Spice Collection is perfect for my photos, the dusky pinks and plum shades pick up on the colours in the beautiful bouquets. I started by adding a watercolour background to plain white cardstock in those same colours using the packaging technique but I ended up covering it! Sometimes that happens! I then chose the papers I wanted to use and cut up t

London | Honey & Spice - Heidi Swapp

I hope that you all had a lovely Valentine's day, however, my layout this week has nothing to do with Valentines! I have used the Honey & Spice Collection by Heidi Swapp which I hadn't really looked at before, however, when I saw it in real life I thought it was gorgeous! The colours are dark and they complimented the photos taken on a very dreary day in London. I started with my background - I used a new honeycomb stencil - Fox Cuts #9. This will be a great stencil for so many layouts - I love the tiny detail. I used coloured texture paste and also drew around the stencil with fine liner to give a faded look. I also repeated this effect with the stencil below my title. The London title was

Tiffany Love!

Hey Foxy friends, It's Wendy on the blog today and I can't believe it's February already. I'm using some of the gorgeous Fox Box light bulb perspextives for my LO and the padlock and key. The colours were perfect for my photos from when I went to Covent Garden at Christmas and saw this beautiful Tiffany display. T.he background paper was from Fancy Pants Home for Christmas Collection I had multiple photos to show off all the lovely decorations which meant the LO didn't need much else on it only a few embellishments. I've used a Tim Holtz die for the Christmas trees and cut them in white and tiffany blue bazzill and a sparkly 12x12 paper. I then backed all the photos in the same combination o

Hey, everyone! I'm here to share a layout I created with Perspextives from the February Fox Box, which was just chock-full of delightful

Hugs & Kisses | Julie Taylor

Hi Foxy friends & happy Valentines day to you all xx I'm back with you today sharing a love layout using perspextives out the February Fox Box. I chose to work on black cardstock, to make the colours pop. I first glued down some old book papers & coated them in gesso & then added some ink powders & water, to add some colour & added white splatters all over the both when dry. I then built up my cluster, in the centre of the page using fussy cut stamping, die cuts & ephemera. I sewed the black cardstock to a border of text paper & them to some splattered white cardstock. I ripped & distressed the edges of the black cardstock & added 2 small clusters on either side. Thanks for joining me today

Love You XO XO | Kay Hall

Hi Foxy friends. Kay back with you today sharing a love themed layout using perspextives out the February Fox Box. I used an older Crate paper valentine collection, that matched the colours in the Fox Box perfectly. I added a bit of pink ink to the background paper & matted my photos on some blue paper to make them stand out & layered a frame over the one photo of my gorgeous girl. I then added lots of ephemera, around the photos & the lovely perspextives as a finishing touch. Thanks for joining me today & check out our Facebook group for inspiration every day. see you soon

Happy Days | February Fox Box

The February Fox Box had lots of little pieces - some are perfect for a lovey dovey layout while others for everyday. I picked out the cute lightbulbs from the Fox Box to use on this layout about a weekend away with friends. I have been in a bit of a scrapping funk recently so I have turned to an old favourite collection - Happiness from Cocoa Vanilla. If all else fails then fussy cut! As I wasn't sure where I was going, I stenciled on the background using Bramble Fox stencil - #1 I find that I use this stencil all the time because it is two stencils in one! I then heat embossed this dragonfly (Aall & Create) with gold embossing powder before adding some colour to the centre with Inka Gold.

Love is in the Air

Hi Foxy Friends, Terri here back with my second blog post. February is the month of love and the February Fox Box is full of gorgeous love themed perspextives. I'm not usually one for themed collections unless it's travel related but I loved this one by Crate Paper. I backed this cut file from Paige Evans with patterned paper except for those with full heart shapes. I chose to feature a photo of my cute little kitten as he has definitely stolen a piece of my heart. The cut file gave me the idea to hang the key and padlock perspextives from the string to complement the heart notes. I tied them on with some baby pink bakers twine. I added XO and heart perspextives to the centre of the full hea
