Adorable | Debbi Tehrani
Happy New Year! I don't know about you, but I still have lots of Christmas pictures I want to scrap, and the beautiful "Adorable" title piece from the February Fox Box was perfect for this adorable picture of my nephew's girlfriend's little girl. I used some Woodies and Paper Snips, which I'll detail later in this post. (Please note that since I scrap 8 x 8, the products look a bit larger on my layouts.)
A sketch from Scrap a Sketch was the starting point for my layout.
I used a Hip Kit from last year's Christmas season. Don't you just love the beautiful new font on the title Perspextive? The swoops and swirls add so much interest to the title!
In place of the strip on the sketch, I used a large scallop border punch and added some stitching to the pink strip. I layered up a bunch of the pretty florals and other die cuts from the Hip Kit, mounting some with pop dots. To add some contrast to the paper textures and Perspextives, I used some of the beautiful Woodies from the Christmas collection. In this picture, you can see the Festive Labels Woodies, which include 8 pieces. The happy red phrase strips were cut from Paper Snips 015 | Festive Fun.
I used a sweet little house from the Gingerbread Woodies pack on the opposite side of the page. The engraved detailing is just gorgeous on these pieces!
The sketch had a frame, and I tucked a pretty oval frame from the Hip Kit behind the photo and added one of the DIY bows from the kit. I love the pop of red added by the Paper Snips.
Finally, in place of the labels in the sketch, I added some cute die cuts from the Hip Kit, along with another phrase strip from the Paper Snips, and some sparkly silver enamel dots and snowflakes finished off the page.
There are still so many beautiful goodies from the Winter/Christmas Collection in the shop, and surely you have lots of Christmas photos left to scrap!
