Jingle All the Way! - Wendy Meffan

Hi Everyone! here is my second layout for November and i'm using some of the gorgeous November perspextives, I have combined the Jingle All the Way along with the Magical perspextive on the layout. I also used the Paper Snips #15. Last year I went to the Kew Gardens Christmas Lights with some girl friends and we found a Cable Car to have a quick photo shoot in, it was great fun and a really fun evening. The Jingle All the Way perspextive was perfect along with the Sleigh.

For my layout I used Simple Stories Mix and a Mingle collection, I loved the colours in the collection and they worked perfectly with the photo.I created a mixed media background using distress oxides. I sewed a square grid just larger than 3x3' over the layout and then I cut several 3x3' squares which i placed in the spaces. i added a second layer of squares to give some dimension. (This actually covered up most of the mixed media!) I distressed all the edges of the squares before adhering them to the card stock. I then matted the photo and placed it centrally.

I placed the Jingle All the Way perspextive to the right of the photo as the main title and added the Sleigh perpsextive underneath.

I added several of the floral ephemera pieces around the perspextives. I fussy cut the Star and Falala circles from the Paper Snips and attached epoxy stickers over the top of them.

To the top left of the photo I made another floral cluster and added the Magical perspextive.

To the left side of the photo I tucked in the Joyful tab which I fussy cut from the Paper Snips #15. I added some more of the ephemera floral die cuts and fussy cut another circle to create a third epoxy sticker.

To finish the layout I used a white pen and fine lined around the edges of the photo and the top layer of squares. i used white gesso to splatter over the layout.

Do take a look at www.bramblefox.co.uk for all the latest products which are coming in for December and January.

Till next time ... Happy Scrapping!
