Hi Foxy friends! Emilie here to share with you a layout I created using the "Moment Captured" Perspextive from the March Fox box and the Welly boots perspextives from the spring collection available in store. I started by placing a sheet of velum over a sheet of green cardstock in order to soften it and create a gentle texture which remind me of the dewy spring mornings. I then fussy cut a lot of leaves from a sheet of Paige Evans Bloom Street paper and clustered them alongside some more leaves from her ephemera packs all the way down my page to create the impression of dropping leaves. I had purposefully chosen only shades of green. I then ripped a strip of green paper again from the Bloom

Make today count - wall art!

Hi there Foxy Friends! There's been a lot of talk recently amongst the BF Design Team about our craft rooms/ spaces and dare I say a fair bit of craft room envy!! Some of us, and I don't include myself, are very tidy crafters! Well organised craft spaces, clean work surfaces, a place for everything and everything in its place is something I can only aspire to!! Basically I felt shamed into having a major clear up and sort out! Surprise, surprise I found lots of things I didn't know I had! A trip to Ikea, a day spent putting together Kallax inserts and I too am now more organised than I've ever been and it's time to start prettying things up a bit! Todays project is a piece of wall art using

Guest Designer | Romy Boxsem

Romy Boxsem is from the Netherlands and has an awesome scrapbook style. She has created to beautiful layouts for us this month: Romy used the Willow Lane collection from Crate Paper. She created a wreath by painting with watercolors and before adding the fussy-cut little hearts. She machine stitched the hearts and the border to add more detail before decorating the wreath with cute embellishments. She then added Perspextives from the Tokens of Love pack - there are lots of little elements in this pack - perfect for dotting around a layout! In this second layout, Romy used the Sunny Days collection also from Crate Paper. Romy layered white tissue paper under the picture for extra dimension b

Vegan Dream!

Hey foxy friends! another month has passed and I'm back on the blog and am sharing a layout of a giant aubergine which we found on our latest travels in Sydney, Australia. Ellie who is in the pictures follows a vegan diet and was so excited to see this giant aubergine and couldn't believe her eyes! This months purple perspextives were sooooo perfect for this. I started this layout with the background using distress oxides Wilted Violet and Cracked Pistachio in a band across the page and then I added a small amount at the bottom where I decided to add a cluster. I then did some stamping on top of the ink in black using versaclair fine stamps. I added the three photos and then added die cuts f

Fabulous moments captured

Hi Foxy friends. This month we have some new stencils in the shop & as I love mixed media couldn't resist having a bit of a play with one of them on this layout. I used Fox cut #15 & added some texture paste through it & then sprinkled different coloured magical powders & sprayed with water allowing them to run around my page. I dried between each colour. I then started to make up my page, adding lots of bits & bobs coming down from the top left to the bottom right. This is one of my favourite layouts to do, just adding loads of ephemera & mixing it up. The Moments Captured perspextive, out the March Fox Box, make the perfect title & I also added some Little people & the trees in that gorgeo

Good Stuff

Hi there! Kay here with you today sharing a layout using the “Good Stuff” perspextive from the March Foxbox along with some little stars I have used a cutfile from Cut to You and various boy themed papers from my stash including several from Cocoa Vanilla Studio. For the background I used Gesso and then added the cutfile, photo and some extra paper stars mounted on 3D foam. From my stash I had a large black 2018 Perspextive that I’d accidentally broken in half, so I used the 18 half of it on my layout to represent my son’s age. I will keep the other half for when he turns 20! I had several little stars that I added to complete my layout. Thanks for looking and I will be back soon! Happy Sc

Moments Captured with Virginia

Hi Foxy friends, Virginia here with a new project and a process video to share with you. Today I felt like creating a very colourful and springy layout and I chose to use a lovely cut file in the shape of a photo camera. I also featured some of the fantastic perspextives included in the March 2020 Fox Box. I cut out the lens of the camera and I replaced it with my photo, then I proceeded to back the cut file with beautiful patterned paper designed by Paige Evans. After backing most of it, I glued it on the floral paper that fills the body of the camera with adhesive foam, in order to raise it a little bit: this allows the flowers and the lens to cast a little shadow on the floral patterned p

Snap Chat | Morag Cutts

Hi Fox Friends! I have played with a new design in the shop which is a perfect compliment to fun Snap Chat photos. Fellow design team member, Julie Taylor and I run scrapbook workshops together as Crafty Vixens. We like to take a few Snap Chat photos together before the workshop starts. To take me out of my comfort zone I used bright colours which is not my normal style. I started by painting black acrylic paint onto the white cardstock. You'll see I used rough brush strokes. You can also see from this photo the little Snap Chat cut out in the title - how cool is that?! I didn't have a specific collection to work with so I pulled out papers from my stash - the back ground and some of the die

Moments Captured | Terri Morris

Hi Foxy Friends, Terri here sharing my first layout for March using some of the fab perspextives in this month's Fox Box. I've recently been away to Morocco so have a ton of new photos to scrap. A fairly simple layout from me this month with only a splattering off mixed media at the end. I added large vertical strips of patterned paper securing them with machine stitching. Then added strips of washi tape on the horizontal to provide a 'shelf' on which to add photos and embellishment. The large word type perspextives are so versatile and make great titles. I simply layered it over the top of the ice cream cart die cut from the Amy Tangerine 'Picinic in the Park' collection in the bottom left
