Let's GO Scrapbook Layout - Wendy Meffan

The May Fox Box Plus is just perfect for any travel or out door layout. The perspextives are bright and vibrant and work especially well with mountains and greenery. I am still scrapping my Australian outdoor photos from the Blue Mountains so I had the ideal combination of Perspextives and Paper Snips. I have used Cocoa Vanilla Great Escape Collection.

Generally I like to use multiple photos on a layout so I printed my photos 2x3" which meant I could get more on the page! I then created a ticket in white card stock and used it as a template and cut a few from several of the papers in the Great Escape Collection. I then played around with their position on the page until I was happy where the patterns were. I then distressed the edges and added a white pen line around the inner edge. Then I added my photos .

I placed the Let's GO perspextive near the top of the layout as the main focus and title.

I fussy cut the trees and the Outdoor, Fresh Air sign from the Paper Snips #056 and added them to some of the empty tickets without photos on them. I used an older mini pine tree perspextive along side the Outdoors sign and also fussy cut some tiny trees from the paper in the collection.

I placed the large Fresh Air perspextive at the bottom of the layout to give some balance of the bright colours.

I then raided my older stash of perspextives and found a bright green geo tag and mini camper van which were great to add as extra embellishments, and also bring an extra pop of colour.

Finally I added cut out embellishments, tags and word phrases from the paper collection to finish off embellishing any empty tickets.

I was really pleased with how this layout turned out.
