♥ This Moment: An Autumn Scrapbook Layout | Debbi Tehrani
Pumpkin-filled patterns, gorgeous golden accents, and fabulous Bramble Fox Perspextives come together in this autumn scrapbook layout celebrating a fun day at the pumpkin patch! I used several elements from the November Fox Box Plus, including the fabulous “♥ This Moment” title, a sweet fox Perspextive, a stencil, and Paper Snips, along with a few other Bramble Fox goodies from my stash. I paired these gorgeous products with Carta Bella’s It’s Autumn collection for a page filled with pumpkins, golden leaves, and all the cozy colors of fall.
I wanted the title to be the star of the page while still giving the photo and all those adorable autumn embellishments room to shine. There are lots of little details tucked throughout this layout, so let’s take a closer look! One thing to keep in mind is that I always scrapbook in an 8 x 8 format, so Bramble Fox products look a little larger on my layouts than they would on a traditional 12 x 12 page. It’s a great way to make those beautiful details really stand out!

Mustard Magic & a Title That Pops!
I absolutely love the fabulous mustard-yellow “Love This Moment” title from the November Fox Box! This color is perfect for an autumn layout, complementing the warm pumpkins, falling leaves, and other rich colors of the season. To help the photo stand out against the patterned background, I backed it with rust-colored paper and used the same paper to create borders around the pumpkin paper. This repetition helps tie the different parts of the page together while adding a little extra definition.
I love how the mustard, rust, cream, and orange work together to create a warm, cohesive color palette. The key was choosing colors that complement one another without making the page feel too busy.
💡 Debbi’s Design Tip: When working with a busy patterned paper, try using a coordinating solid color or tone-on-tone print to mat your photo. It creates a visual break between the photo and the background, helping your photo stand out without losing that lovely patterned-paper detail.

Giving the Title Its Autumn Crown
I wanted the “Love This Moment” title to be the star of the page, so I sandwiched it between my photo’s caption and a pumpkin. The caption beneath the title was borrowed from my niece-in-law’s Facebook post, and I loved how perfectly her words captured the spirit of the moment! The mustard color of the title really pops, and I love how it becomes part of the layered design rather than simply sitting on top of the background.
To give the title a little extra fanfare, I used the stencil from the November Fox Box Plus to create a sunburst behind the pumpkin, almost like a crown radiating out above the title. I love how this draws the eye toward the lettering and gives it a little extra drama! To finish off the crown, I added two leaves fussy cut from the Paper Snips in the Fox Box, bringing in another layer of autumn color and texture.
💡 Debbi’s Design Tip: Think of your title as an embellishment in its own right! Rather than simply placing it in an empty space, try layering it with a photo, a caption, or a themed element. A little overlap can help the title feel connected to the rest of the design and give your layout a more finished look.

A Foxy Little Pumpkin Patch Scene
That sweet little etched fox was just too cute not to use on this autumn layout! I created a miniature vignette with a pumpkin cart cut from one of the Carta Bella papers, adding leaves from the Paper Snips to customize the scene. The little “Hello Autumn” sentiment finishes it off perfectly.
To ground the whole scene, I introduced some rust-colored paper and a decorative border, bringing more gold and warmth into this part of the page. I also added a brad to the wheel to echo the metal embellishment on the wheel in the upper-left corner. Repeating a small detail like this is a simple way to make separate clusters feel connected.
I love creating these little scenes within a layout. They give the viewer something extra to discover and help tell the story of the season without needing lots of additional journaling.
💡 Debbi’s Design Tip: Try building a tiny scene around one of your embellishments instead of using it on its own. A few fussy-cut leaves, a small sentiment, and a little layering can turn a single element into a charming focal point.

Adding a Little Love to the Layout
I always like to add hearts to the layouts I give away, and this one was no exception! I found two heart Perspextives that were a perfect match for the title and the sweet fox. They add a little extra love and playfulness to the page while reinforcing the idea of capturing a special moment.
The tag was made using a die from the Office Elements Fox Dies #22 set, and I added a bit of twine to give it some extra texture and a more tactile, homespun feel. The view-master reel is another Bramble Fox die, and I love how these different shapes add interest to the upper-left cluster. I also added a punched border to match the photo mat, helping define the edge of the pumpkin paper and tie the design together. It's amazing how these little details can make such a difference to the finished page!
I like to leave a layout overnight and look at it again with fresh eyes the next day. I often spot one last thing that will make the design feel more complete. For this page, I decided to add some coppery dots for a final touch of warmth and texture. The stamping on the right side of the page was also added the next day.
💡 Debbi’s Design Tip: Repeating a shape, color, or embellishment in different areas of a layout is an easy way to create visual continuity. Hearts, circles, and little tags can help connect your clusters without making everything look exactly the same.

Layer Upon Layer of Pumpkin Patch Charm
Here's another close-up of the embellishment cluster, where the Paper Snips leaves and pumpkin-themed Carta Bella pieces work together to create a little burst of autumn color. I added a Pumpkin Patch sign from the Carta Bella sticker sheet, along with word strips from the Autumn Paper Snips 011 by Bramble Fox, and finished the cluster with a tiny brad. The different shapes, textures, and little pops of color give the cluster plenty of interest, while the repeated orange, rust, mustard, and cream tones keep everything beautifully coordinated.
One detail you might not notice at first is the vellum I tucked behind the photo. Besides adding another layer of texture, it softens the busy pumpkin pattern behind it. I especially like this trick on autumn layouts, where patterned papers can be wonderfully detailed but sometimes need a little visual breathing room.
💡 Debbi’s Design Tip: Vellum is a fantastic way to soften a busy pattern without covering it completely. Try tucking a small piece behind a photo or embellishment cluster to create subtle separation, add texture, and help the layers stand out.

Autumn is full of those little moments that deserve a place in our scrapbooks, from pumpkin patch visits to the beautiful colors and cozy traditions that make this time of year so special. I love how this layout combines a playful photo, a fabulous Bramble Fox title, sweet fox details, and layers of autumn leaves and pumpkins to capture that feeling.
The November Fox Box Plus has so many lovely possibilities for autumn projects, and I had a wonderful time combining its Perspextives, stencil, and Paper Snips with pieces from my stash and Carta Bella’s It’s Autumn collection.
