Happy Days | February Fox Box

The February Fox Box had lots of little pieces - some are perfect for a lovey dovey layout while others for everyday. I picked out the cute lightbulbs from the Fox Box to use on this layout about a weekend away with friends.

I have been in a bit of a scrapping funk recently so I have turned to an old favourite collection - Happiness from Cocoa Vanilla. If all else fails then fussy cut!

As I wasn't sure where I was going, I stenciled on the background using Bramble Fox stencil - #1 I find that I use this stencil all the time because it is two stencils in one!

I then heat embossed this dragonfly (Aall & Create) with gold embossing powder before adding some colour to the centre with Inka Gold. They are so shiny and iridescent in real life. I then hung the lightbulbs from the top of the layout and drew some messy strings to hold them.

I love the Year Charms that are brilliant to dangle on an album or use as I have done here as an embellishment.

I layered up the fussy cut elements and added some texture with threads and twine and anything else I could put my hands on!
