Eat. Sleep. Craft. Repeat. | Debbi Tehrani
I absolutely love the Eat Sleep pack with the fun title and sweet little pink scissors, but I didn't have any pictures of me scrapping, and my scrap room is a total mess at the moment, and then I thought of all the pictures I've taken of my sweet kitty, Tucker, who loves to "supervise" me when I scrap, and I thought this would be the perfect opportunity to use these Perspextives and also document this endearing habit of his. So I picked a few of the dozes of photos I had and came up with this layout. Please note that I scrap 8 x 8, so the products always look larger on my pages.
I started with white cardstock and looked through my papers to see what would go with the pretty shade of pink of the Perspextives and found the Simple Stories Hello Today collection was a great match. I had contemplated doing some mixed media in the background, but my photos were so busy with the clutter from my scrap room, that I decided to go fairly simple with this layout.
The red and teal look look so pretty with the pink. I decided to add some black around my photos to make them stand out, and I really liked the addition of black with the colors, so I added some borders to the center part and to the top and bottom.
How sweet are these scissors? I used the second pair for a little cluster at the top. Some stitching added a bit of interest to the black borders at the top and bottom.
This phrase sticker was from a different collection, and the pink is a little different, but I couldn't resist using it beneath this sweet picture of Tucker using my paper trimmer as a pillow as he supervised a Christmas page I was making for Bramble Fox.
If you're a crafter, and I know you are because you're reading this blog, you need this awesome pack of Perspextives to document your hobby. We'd love to see what you do with these embellishments!
