The July Fox Box and Fox Box Plus is absolutely stunning this month. I have used the stencil #120 which has a gorgeous selection of ferns on it to create a back ground for my page, along with Paper Snips #076. It co ordinated perfectly with Arden Katie Pertiet Hidden Creek Collection. Having just visited The Lost Gardens of Heligan in Cornwall I had the perfect photos to compliment it all.

I decided I would use Stencil #120 from the July Fox Box Plus to create a background on the page. I used several different green distress oxides and stencilled the different ferns up the left side of my paper. I then outlined them all with a grey fine line pen. I used a writing print stamp over the top using a grey distress oxide along with a couple of the stamps from the Hidden Creek Collection. I then stamped some butterflies over the top again in green ink.

I used a rub on from the Hidden Creek Collection above which I adhered the Exploring Nature perspextive from the July Fox Box as my title.

I chose to use multiple photos to show the beautiful gardens and arranged them in two vertical strips. I matted them on paper from the Hidden Creek Collection and then started to embellish around them. I fussy cut quite a few of the Paper Snips #076 and created a cluster at the bottom right of the photo. I inked more ferns onto separate paper and this time I fussy cut them and added one behind the cluster.

To balance the layout I added some more fussy cut ferns and some ephemera to the top left of the photos.

Finally I used some green Doodlebug Alphabet Soup thickers and added another title under the rub on.

I hope this layout has inspired you to try different ways to use the stencils. I enjoy fussy cutting the shapes once I have inked them to give greater depth and dimension on a layout.
Until next time ... Happy Scrapping!
