A Scrapbook page showcasing a beautiful family portrait using the 'So Very Happy' title from the July Fox Box.
Some photos capture a moment. Others capture a feeling. This family portrait was one of those photos that instantly made my heart smile. The laughter, the closeness, and the genuine joy between them inspired this layout.

One of my favorite parts of creating family layouts is documenting the little details that make everyday moments meaningful. This portrait reminds me that happiness doesn’t have to come from big events or perfect plans, sometimes it’s simply being together, sharing smiles, and enjoying the season of life we’re in right now.
Layering Techniques to add interest and frame the photograph
To keep the focus on the photo, I added layers of different papers from Simple Stories, Simple Vintage Junk Drawer collection underneath, leaving lots of white space to add my stencilling using Stencil #141 from the July Fox Box plus. To further enhance the background i used a couple of tags and some rub on's from the paper collection.

Building Balanced Embellishment Clusters
Flowers from the paper collection were added to the bottom left and right of the photo to make the clusters and to enhance them further i added little perspective flowers and leaves from the new set in the shop. To complete the layout i added the 'So Very Happy' title perspective along with a banner from the paper collection, some butterflies on the stencilling and string to the tags.

Scrapbooking Inspiration
For this page, I wanted the design to feel warm, light, and full of love. I used soft layered papers, delicate embellishments, and pops of cheerful color to highlight the happiness shining through the photo. The title became the perfect finishing touch because it summed up exactly how this memory feels every time I look at it.
Why this layout works.
This scrapbook layouts is effective because it:
Emphasises a strong central photograph.
Uses layering to create depth
Balances embellishments for visual harmony
Uses the title to reinforce the story/theme.
The “So Very Happy” layout is a celebration of family, connection, and gratitude for the people who make life beautiful. I’m so glad these moments were captured and preserved in a way we can revisit again and again.
Thanks so much for stopping by today.
Thanks for taking a look and I hope this layout inspires you to print those family photos and document the happiness found in your own everyday moments.
