Summer Stories Scrapbook Layout - Wendy Meffan

The August Fox Box is packed with gorgeous titles and cute Seashore Embellishments . Coupled with the new Paper Snips #079 and Tropical Floral stencil #122, this is the perfect combination for any Summer layout.

I chose six photos to scrap of the Surf Shack on our holiday and mounted them on some patterned paper. I used 4 up, borderless setting on the selphy. I then cut a 10" patterned paper to use as a background for the photos overall, leaving a 1" white border around the edge.

I fussy cut the entire Paper Snips #079

At the top of the photos I used the pink Summer Stories perspextive from the August Fox Box as my main title. Having fussy cut the whole Paper Snips sheet it was easy to choose pieces to use. I chose the two large palm trees and used some dies cuts and fussy cut flowers from Bella Boulevard's Time to Travel Collection.

I used a letter die and cut the Surf Shack letters to add at the bottom of the layout. The washing line with swim suits along with the surf board from the Paper Snips were the perfect embellishments around this second title.

To balance the layout I added a cluster to the side, using the pelican and third palm leaf from the Paper Snips. These worked perfectly with more die cuts from the Time to Travel Collection.

For further embellishment I used the Camper Van and Camera from the Paper Snips with more fussy cut flowers.

Finally I added some journalling at the bottom of the layout.
