Superhero Scrapbook Layout | Debbi Tehrani

The new superhero-themed Perspextives are perfect for scrapbooking the heroes in your life! I used the Not All Heroes Wear Capes pack to document my good friend, a firefighter. A hero indeed! Please note that I scrap 8 x 8, so products look a bit larger on my layouts.

How fun is the font on this title? I love the boldness of it, and the black really stands out. I started out my layout by creating a background using one of my favorite Bramble Fox stencils: Sunburst Fox Cut #18, which makes a nice backdrop for this large title and I think has a superhero vibe.

I made paper strips using lots of old scraps from my stash in colors that I think are perfect for a superhero theme. I stitched them with zig-zags for added texture and fun. The x's are from Bramble Fox's awesome new stencil that comes in the June Fox Box. This is going to be a must-have stencil! I brushed ink through the x's on this page, but I used one of the patterns on the stencil with thread to make cross-stitches on another layout, which will be shared in a couple of weeks. The heart came from the Monochrome Hearts pack (I always add hearts to layouts I give away). I chose a black heart to form a visual triangle with the black title and bomb. The "Super" speech bubble and lightning flashes also came in the Not All Heroes Wear Capes pack.

The cute superhero critters and firetruck are digital elements that I printed out and fussy-cut. The ligthning and stars are also from the Not All Heroes Wear Capes pack.

Here's one more shot showing another critter. The "Super" above the photo is from the Office Elements Fox Dies #22, another must-have, versatile die!
