Fancy a Selphy! - Scrapbook Layout - Wendy Meffan
The latest November perspextives have some great titles and perfect mini perspextive embellishments to go with them. I have used the Remember This Moment title along with the ferns and butterflies collection, perfect for my outdoor photos in Australia. i was also able to used the Paper Snips #064 from the November Fox Box Plus .The colours of these perspextives also coordinated perfectly with 49 and Market Moonlit Garden Collection which I decided to use.
I loved these selphy pictures with the kangaroo so decide to print them 4x4 to show them off! I used the acetate film pieces from the Moonlit Garden Collection as a base for the photographs and then started to embellish around them. I raised the photos on sticky fixers so I could tuck things under the sides of them. I used some frames and ticket embellishments along with some laser cut elements from the paper collection. I was able to add the fern and frond perspextives to each cluster and also used some epoxy flair from the paper snips. I used the Bramblefox die to cut the Paper Snips pieces, it saves a lot of fussy cutting and also gives a really neat finish. It's a MUST if you don't have it.
I created a cluster to each side of the photos. Also over the top of the photo I added a tab from the paper Snips and some journal pieces from the paper collection. I attached a lovely dragonfly perspextive over the stamps.
I positioned the photos slightly staggered with just enough room to add the title perspextive in the space above the lower picture. I then added a small flag pennant from the collection and one of the dragonfly perspextives and Wonderful Life Epoxy flair .
Underneath the photos I added another frame and ticket and a small butterfly perspextive. I then journaled to the side. The Treasured Photo tab was also from the paper snips and was the perfect embellishment to add to my photo.
Finally I added a couple of torn paper strips to edge the layout at the top and bottom of the page.
I love how this layout turned out and it feels quite peaceful with all the colours of the perspextives. It was a very calm time getting so close to the kangaroos and I feel the mood of this layout has also captured that moment.
DO check out all the gorgeous new products available in the shop, there is such a variety and not all Christmas based.
Until next time... Happy Scrapping!
