Greetings, Foxy Friends! Even though fall is approaching and school is underway, I'm here to share a summery layout I made for my friend using some beautiful Bramble Fox products! For those who don't know, I scrap 8 x 8, so the products look larger on my layouts.
Anyone who knows me knows I love a good scrapbooking challenge, so I couldn't resist playing along with Bramble Fox's mood board challenge this month. Make sure you keep checking our blog and Instagram to see the amazing work by the Bramble Fox Challenge Team. So here was the mood board that inspired my page. Like I said, I love a challenge, so I drew inspiration from each image on the mood board to create my layout.
First, and most obviously, I was inspired by the summer, tropical theme and found some Mintay papers to fussy cut and die cuts by Simple Stories Vintage Coastal.
My eye was drawn to that pink flamingo in the Mood Board, so I decided to use pink as my main color. The "Incredible" Perspextive title that came in the September Fox Box was perfect I added the plum banner as part of the title, also from the September Fox Box, and added some plum patterned paper behind the photo to match. I can't get enough of the gorgeous sunburst stencils. I used Fox Cut #17 and some pink Distress ink to make a pink sunburst.
The pink flamingo floatie in the mood board made me remember that I had a pink flamingo Perspextive in my stash from a prior summer release. I also added a fussy-cut fruity drink and an ice cream bar, also inspired by mood board images.
The yellow flowers in the mood board inspired me to add yellow to this pink-dominated palette. I cannot get enough of those pretty soaring gulls in the Flock of Seagulls. I may need to order another pack. They are just the perfect addition to any beach or tropical-inspired layout!
I had lots of fun playing with these beautiful products, and I hope I've given you some inspiration and encouraged you to give the Bramble Fox challenge a try---you may even win a gift certificate to the shop! Please tag Bramble Fox when you post your creations on Instagram, and be sure to also share your layouts on the Bramble Fox Friends Facebook group so we can see how you're using the products. Until next month...
