Hello again Fox friends, Giselle here with something a bit different today. Perspextives are versatile enough to be used for home decor so when I spotted this supersized 2019 I thought I'd use it to make a birthday calendar. I have seen similar calendars online, made from wood or paper, so I decided to create one for Bramble Fox. I started with a piece of sturdy 12 x 12 white card as the base and added four pieces of coordinating paper to cover it completely. Then I backed the number 20 of the Perspextive to make it stand out from the patterned paper and glued it into place. Then I cut 12 circles, which are just under an inch wide, to fit across the calendar and added the months using small

Cause for applause!

Hello Bramble Fox Friends! Philippa here today with my first blog post! I’m loving being a part of the Design Team and can’t wait to show you how I use the unique Bramble Fox products to accessorise my layouts and projects. Rummaging in the attic the other day I came across my wedding album! I decided to create a layout using one of my favourite photos! I love the sweet cherubs that came as an exclusive in the February Fox Box and decided that they were perfect for this page! Using papers from Indigo Hills II and a few from Paige Evans Whimsical collection I backed the cut heart, layered my photo and fussy cut lots of flowers. I placed these around the edge of the heart along with some puffy

Mixing it Up

Hey there foxes. Do you hoard pretty papers and goodies from different collections? I know that I do! Even though i have enough patterned paper to wallpaper a large building, I still can't resist pretty paper. One thing I'm often asked is how to put patterns together. In this example, I've used 4 different patterned papers. Using a simple design, I angled a couple of papers to create a bit of drama. It was also a great place to add ephemara from various collections too. To anchor the main photo (of my very cute dog), I splodged some Picked Raspberry Distress ink using the packaging technique. I then samped in the same colour or black for a confetti look. The beautiful monochrome flowers were

Fill the Jar (and Smash the Stash)

Hey, Bramble Fox Friends! Debbi here with my first blog post as a design team member. I'm so excited to be a part of this team, working with these beautiful Bramble Fox products. One thing to know about me as a scrapper is that I scrap 8 x 8 pages, so the products will look larger than they would on a 12 x 12 page. I fell in love with these jars from the Jar of Hearts set as soon as I opened my box! And then when I saw this month's Stash Smash challenge, I knew exactly what I'd do with them. The Stash Smash challenge has two parts: a topic to scrap and some stash to use up. For this month, here's the challenge: Topic: Goals/Hopes & Dreams Stash: Die-cuts, Stickers & Chipboard I'm on a very l

Pooch Smooch

Hi Fox Friends, Julie here with you today sharing a 9x12 layout. I enjoy doing different sized layouts occasionally, I think it adds interest to your albums & find the smaller size easier to do. This layout is about my daughter & her best friend, our dog Riley. She just loves to hug & kiss him so the new dog perspextives were just perfect for this. There are 3 different packs all with 2 designs in each, Bark in the Park (which is what I've used) Dog Gone Cute & Scallywag, all of them a must if you're a dog owner but equally good if you love yourself a cheeky dog snapchat selfie. I added a bit of mixed media to my background, using texture paste & Magicals powders & distressed the edges & lay

Hugs & Kisses for the month of love

Hi friends - this is Vicki with my very first blog post for Bramble Fox. I absolutely adore perspextives and I was so excited to be on the team to help showcase them. This is my second layout for the month and I wanted to use hugs & kisses on this layout. I have a strip of photos of myself and my best friend with her son and my gorgeous doggie! We were trying a selfie, but he kept either looking away or wanting hugs and kisses - it was very funny! I have a process video for this layout too, so please do check that out here. I started off with a cutfile that I designed on my silhouette - just a simple series of diamonds across the page and used this as a stencil. I had some Shimmerz texture p

a Jar Full of Love | Niki Rowland

Hey there Bramble Fox fans! Niki here today with this layout full of love! I absolutely loved the Jar of Hearts set, which is available in the store. This set comes with two jars and some cute little hearts. I used the large 'open' jar at the bottom of my layout and added a fussy cut heart and the word 'love'. I then fussy cut a LOT more hearts and arranged them as if they were all floating out of the jar and around my photo. I added in all the little red hearts that came with the Jar of Hearts set and also the 'FAV' tag that was in the February Fox Box. There were some more red hearts in the February Fox Box so I added those too. I also added in the very gorgeous little white cherubs that w

Little Cherry Picker!

Hi Kay with you today sharing a layout using perspextives from the February Fox Box. The papers in this layout are all from different collections by Crate Paper, I’ve been hoarding some of them for a few years! They are too cute to use! I started by layering the papers and added faux stitching around the edge. Then I added my photos, lots of embellishments and fussy cut the fruit pieces. I used different sets of alphas from my stash to create the title. I hope you all manage to find some crafting time this weekend.

Out and About in London!

Hi everyone! it's Wendy here on the blog today sharing a fairly bright but simple LO inspired by my coat colour and using some mixed media. I bought some new stamps whilst in America over Christmas and was itching to use them so picked out the lime green. I inked through a stencil in red and then added some black stamps to even out the colour. I love this Smile perspective and decided to back it in red cardstock as it didn't show up clearly on white bazzill. I then punched a black heart to highlight the FAV perspextive. I already had the telephone box from before but it was perfect for the picture so added it in. I wanted to use my London underground perspextive so did bit more stamping at

Hello! I'm so excited to be part of the wonderful Bramble Fox team !!! I present you my very first page! To make the background, I used Prima Antipasto paint that I spread with a spatula. Then I used the Fox Cut # 4 stencil with modeling past. I used Fearless perspectives. It is a perfect color to go with the papers chosen for my page. Hoping to have inspired you

Smash that Stash!

Do you have a heap of stash? We would like to help and inspire you to dig out that stash and use it up! So each month we will be setting a little (and very easy) challenge. One lucky person will win a £10 voucher to spend in store. You can enter as many times as you like. Feburary Stash Smash Topic: Goals/Hopes & Dreams Do you have a goal for this year? May be you have some life-long dreams or long-term ambition. May be you have already acheived your ambition. Document them on a layout - it will be great to look back in years to come to see how you did! Stash: Die-cuts, Stickers & Chipboard There are always lots of die-cuts or stickers and chipboard pieces leftover from a collection. Your c
