8 x 8 Autumn Scrapbook Layout | Debbi Tehrani

The golden splendor of autumn is fast approaching, and the Bramble Fox shop is stocked with an array of beautiful scrapbooking embellishments to adorn your fall pages. The October Fox Box Plus is brimming with gorgeous autumn-themed goodies to celebrate this amazing season! With the perfect blend of fall colors and textures, from golds to russet to scarlet to pumpkin orange, from etched wood accents to shimmery Perspextives to a fabulous fall stencil to the delightful Paper Snips, you'll be able to create stunning autumn scrapbook pages.

I used the gorgeous shimmery "Golden Days" title, pumpkin-colored Wordfetti, a cheerful translucent squirrel, the Paper Snips and the Fox Cut Stencil from the Fox Box Plus, as well as a handful of other awesome Bramble Fox Products to create this 8 x 8 layout. Please note that since my pages are a bit smaller, the products look a bit larger.

The Golden Days title Perspextive is the highlight of my layout. The shimmer is absolutely beautiful, and the color changes from a deep gold to a shimmery champagne as the light hits it from different angles. Bramble Fox's translucent Perspextives are always a favorite, and the bright pumpkin colored Wordfetti in the Fox Box adds a beautiful vibrancy to the more neutral tones of this autumn palette. If you haven't used Wordfetti, they are relatively new to the shop, and you must try them out--they come in a bunch of different themes--and once you start using them, you'll be addicted!

I used Simple Stories Cozy Days, mostly using the golds from the collection, but I decided to add the periwinkle blue for contrast, and how delightful a detail when I paired the teacup with the adorable squirrel I fussy-cut from the Paper Snips in the Fox Box Plus!

I designed my layout as 3 panels of horizontal torn paper strips, and then added layers beneath for more interest and texture, first starting with the Office Borders Fox Cut Stencil #69, applying Distress ink with a blending brush and then outlining it with a fine-tipped pen and adding some splatters with watered-down ink. I punched a border in brown to add contrast to the gold paper and the gold stenciled border and glued some gold pom pom trim from my stash to the bottom of each panel. Pom Pom Trim adds lots of texture and a touch of whimsy that I love, and Bramble Fox has a variety of colors of this fun trim! I added autumn words from the Fox Cut stencil that came in the kit, using the Bramble Fox Blending Brushes, which are the perfect size for detailed stencil work.

How adorable is this translucent squirrel that came in the Fox Box? Seriously! The fine etched details are sensational and give him such personality! The Happy Vibes label was cut from the Fox Box Paper Snips, and the small phrase strips that I added to the leaves are from Autumn Paper Snips 011. The leaves are from another Paper Snips that will be in the shop soon. I roughed up the edges of my cardstock to give my page feel of crunchy autumn leaves.

I always add hearts to my layouts that I give away, and I found some beautiful shimmery golden hearts from the Hearts Special Edition pack that perfectly coordinated with my title.

After leaving my layout overnight before photographing it, I decided it needed a few more touches, and I added the gold metallic pearls, twiggy bits fussy-cut from a Cozy Days paper, and some tags made from older Bramble Fox Dies, with a metal charm and twine. When I think of autumn, I think of lots of rich color and texture, and that's what I tried to achieve on my layout.
