In the Leaves | Antonia Sherlock

Hello Bramblefox Friends! Autumn is my favourite season, and I am making the most of it by capturing and documenting those magical Autumn moments! Here is another leafy layout I created, this time for the November sketch challenge:

My starting point was an older patterned paper from the Pebbles Warm and Cozy collection. It had a large leafy branch motif in the centre of the page, which I cut out using my Silhouette Portrait machine and Pixscan mat. I used this diecut piece as the focal point of the layout, and I chose all other elements to compliment its colours.

I replaced the circular element on the sketch with this diecut piece. I layered my photo on it, and added lots of embellishment pieces and diecut leaves to make the cluster more circular.

I added the title in a curved line, as suggested on the sketch.

I adhered strips of patterned paper to the right edge of the layout. Instead of adding a small embellishment to each strip of paper at the bottom, I added a larger embellishment piece.

Then I added some perspextives - I arranged these to guide the eyes across the page and to the photo. For this I used the Autumn Oak perspextives, which is currently available in the online shop, and another piece from the October Fox Box. I completed the layout with gold splatters.

You can see how this layout came together here. If you want to play along with us, you can add your layout, inspired by our sketch challenge, to the corresponding album in the Bramblefox Friends facebook group. Don't forget to use a Bramblefox product on your layout, to be in a chance to win a £15 Bramblefox voucher! Happy scrapping, friends!
