Love is in the air with Scrapbook Layout | Petra Kortekaas
This 12 x 12 scrapbook layout is all about love and I have used stitching, inking, lots of embellishments and of course a gorgeous Bramble Fox title.
We all love Bramble Fox, but let's face it, some things you really fall in love with. I always love the matte, frosted titles! This pink Love Much one is sooooo pretty!
My previous layout I blended the title, but this time I wanted it to pop. I chose for yellows and pinks for this sweet summer photo.
I started with punching a lot of circles (1.5") and sewing them together with light pink thread. I had strands of 6, 4 and 3 circles. With them I built the base of the page. When I stuck the circles to the photo, I marked the piece on the cardstock so I could create the background with one of my favourite stencils!
After inking the background where I used two oxides in pink and yellow (worn lipstick and scattered straw), I taped the center piece onto the cardstock. I embellished some flowers around the photo and glued the title.
I picked the cherry and little heart from the super pretty XO set, those little hearts from the cherry... soooo cute!
Sometimes I find the white borders of the die cuts too wide, so I simply fuzzy cut them to my liking.
To finish it all, some splattering with the worn lipstick Oxide spray and that's it!
