Love This Life Scrapbook Layout - Wendy Meffan

I had so much fun creating this scrapbook layout using the gorgeous “Love This Life” Perspextive from the April products! For this page, I wanted a clean but eye-catching design that would really let both my photos and the Perspextive shine.

I started by selecting four photos of myself in my favourite place and arranging them into a neat block. To help them stand out, I matted them, which adds a nice sense of structure and draws your eye straight to those special moments. Keeping them grouped like this also makes the layout feel balanced and intentional.

For the background, I split the page using a two-thirds design with patterned paper. This creates a strong visual foundation while still leaving space for mixed media details.

To add extra texture and interest, I used the Bramble Fox A4 sunburst stencil with distress oxides across the top of the layout, creating a subtle burst of colour behind the title. I positioned the photo block horizontally across the page, which not only anchors the layout but also naturally creates the perfect area above for the Perspextive title to sit beautifully without feeling crowded.

To build on the story, I added word phrases from the Sunshine on My Mind collection by Pinkfresh Studio, stepping them down from the photos to guide the eye across the page. I also tucked in floral ephemera to soften the layout and bring in a fresh, summery feel.

I then incorporated some older Bramble Fox beach Perspextives and woodies for added dimension and detail.

I absolutely love the brightness of this layout, and the sharp contrast of the black Perspextive really makes everything pop. It’s such a happy, vibrant page that perfectly captures the moment!
