Bright, bold, and full of love, this wedding scrapbook layout combines Bramble Fox Perspextives, mixed media, and layered embellishments for a design that truly pops. I always scrap in an 8x8 format, so you may notice the products appear a little larger on my pages—which makes those gorgeous details stand out even more!
For this layout, I used the Love Us title Perspextive from the Big Heart pack along with the adorable XO Love pack and the Falling Hearts stencil to document a photo of my nephew and his beautiful bride on their wedding day. The Heart Eyes collection from Simple Stories complemented the colors of the Perspextives perfectly and added such a fun, happy vibe that really matches the joy in the photo.

Title Work That Steals the Show
One of my favorite features of this layout is the mix of fonts in the title and that wonderful heart with the arrow going through it—I backed that element with patterned paper to help it pop even more.
To get started, I created my background by brushing Salvaged Patina ink through the Falling Hearts Stencil #88. This soft wash of color adds subtle texture while still letting the rest of the design shine.
💡 Debbi’s Design Tip: Backing acrylic embellishments with patterned paper is a simple trick that adds contrast and helps your title stand out beautifully.

Stitch, Ink, & Create
I stitched down wedge shapes from Paper Issue’s Wonky Pie Chart cut file using a variety of patterns. To make the design bolder and help each pattern stand apart, I used a notched pen to ink the edges of each piece in black—this really defines the shapes and adds a bit of contrast.
From there, I started creating clusters around the photo, letting the different patterns and colors guide the placement of embellishments. The hearts and tiny word elements from the XO Love pack were absolutely perfect for tucking into those clusters and adding little pops of interest and meaning throughout the page.
💡 Debbi’s Design Tip: Inking the edges of patterned pieces—especially with a darker color like black—is a simple way to add definition and make each element stand out on a busy background.

Dimension, Shine & Sweet Details
I added some fun tabs to the photo and layered tickets and other stickers to build up my clusters. To bring in extra shine and texture, I scattered shiny pearls and brads throughout the design.
For even more dimension, I lifted many of the stickers and tickets with pop dots, which helps each element stand out and creates depth across the page.
💡 Debbi’s Design Tip: Don’t be afraid to layer and lift! Using foam adhesive in just a few spots can completely transform a flat layout into something eye-catching and dimensional.

Final Details, Fresh Eyes
To balance the design, I added a third cluster to the right of the photo, forming a visual triangle that keeps your eye moving around the page. How sweet are those little XO's from the XO Love pack?
I also layered a transparent window behind the photo and cluster, which allows a subtle peek at the stenciled background underneath. I love how the black of the window ties in beautifully with the other black accents on the page, as well as the black and white photo—it really helps create a cohesive look.
Once the layout was finished, I let it sit overnight. The next day, I came back with fresh eyes and decided to add stamped phrases and hearts to the background—those final touches really brought everything together. This is one of my favorite techniques: stepping away and revisiting your layout later can make all the difference!
💡 Debbi’s Design Tip: Repeating a color (like black) in small details across your layout helps create cohesion and makes your overall design feel intentional and polished.

This layout truly made my heart happy to create! Between the bright colors, playful patterns, and all those lovely Bramble Fox details, it came together in such a fun and meaningful way. I especially love how the layers and little accents help tell the story while keeping the design full of energy and movement.
