Golden Days of Autumn layout by Stephanie Louise

This 12x12 layout was created using the leaves on #papersnips (#41) as inspiration.

I trimmed my cardstock down 1/4" each side and distressed the edges. I used the autumn stencil #78 and Tim Holtz Distressed Ink Dried Marigold to create a panel of print off centre of my page and diluted some of the ink to make the flicked paint effect across the page. Using one of the maple leaves from the paper snips I hand drew a large maple leaf and made a template for my stitched leaves.

The middle section of the leaves I drew freehand, created the holes and then rubbed out the pencil marks. I trimmed into all four edges and heavily distressed those before popping some papers behind.

I used my large leaf template twice more to cut out two more leaves and used these to mount my photos on to. I embellished my photos with lots of the lovely leaves that I'd fussy cut from the paper snips sheet before I started using the perspectives from the #foxbox I used the Golden Days as my title before adding the delightful little fox, squirrel and leaf from my box.

I then worked on the top embellishment cluster. I used the other big leaf under my photo and some more of the paper snips leaves, four wordfetti's and a little wooden owl to complete this cluster.

I added a few coordinating hearts on the page and a quarter of an inch boarder around the edge of the layout to complete my page.
