Some scrapbook layouts feel like they were meant to be, and this one came together so perfectly that I couldn’t wait to share it. Our recent trip to LEGOLAND with our Australian cousins was filled with laughter, noise, and pure fun—the very definition of our kind of chaos.

So when I pulled out the Our Kind of Chaos perspextive from the September Fox Box, I knew I had found the perfect title for this page.

For the base of my design, I reached for the August ’24 Hip Kit Club collection. The colours and patterns coordinated beautifully with the perspextive, picking up all the playful tones from our LEGOLAND adventure. The combination added just the right amount of brightness and energy, mirroring the day’s atmosphere of kids racing from one ride to the next and cousins bonding over LEGO creations.
One of my favourite details on this layout is the wreath element. I carefully fussy cut it from a 12x12 patterned paper and mounted it onto sticky fixers to create dimension. Lifting it off the page gave the design depth and made the title feel framed in the middle of all that joyful chaos.

To build on the layered look, I also used the Leaf Stencil #125 from the October Fox Box Plus. I traced around the cutouts onto patterned paper, then fussy cut the leaves to use as extra embellishments. These handmade leaves added texture, movement, and a personal touch that tied the whole page together.
I also added word phrases from the October paper Snips #081 over the embellishment clusters, again giving more dimension .

The finished layout feels like a snapshot of that whirlwind day: the noise, the laughter, the energy, and the joy of reconnecting with family across the miles. Scrapbooking lets me capture memories in a way that feels true to the moment—and this page does exactly that.
until next time ...Happy Scrapping!
