Beautiful - Joanne Bartell

Hello craft friends! Joanne here sharing my August tic-tac-toe challenge layout using the gorgeous “Beautiful” and heart perspextives from Bramble Fox.

I framed white Bazzill cardstock with a dark blue patterned paper from the collection, fussy cut butterflies and mandalas, and double layered the butterflies for dimension. I also used Honey Bee stamp gems for some added sparkle to the butterflies. I made several clusters around my photos to emphasize the beautiful colors.

Next I did a mixed media background using four different Shimmerz colors to match the papers. I used Glossy Accents to adhere the perspectives. Last, but not least, I used my paper-piercing tool to poke holes around the mandalas then used different colored embroidery floss to create a chain hand stitch.

I added a tag and some twine along the side of the photo, along with some flower ephemera. Final touches I used some Altenew antique gold ink spray for some splatters. This came together so nicely and was so much fun to create! I hope you enjoy. There is a process video on my YouTube channel, should you wish to see how this layout came together.
