Some days are simply too special not to scrapbook, and this wonderful visit to see the adorable Highland cows definitely deserved its own page! Using the perspective title Collect Memories felt like the perfect finishing touch, reminding me that it's the little adventures that become our favourite stories.
To create the background, I divided the layout into sections using two different patterned papers. The top third features one design, while the bottom two-thirds showcase another, adding contrast and visual interest. Rather than leaving the seam exposed, I covered the join with layered paper strips and a beautiful ribbon trim. Not only does this soften the transition between the papers, but it also creates the perfect little pocket to tuck in a selection of ephemera pieces, including the first of the super-cute Highland cow embellishments.

I chose three photos to tell the story of the day, stacking them vertically to naturally guide your eye down the page. This simple arrangement allows each photo to shine while creating a strong focal point. Around the photos, I layered coordinating ephemera, tickets, trims and other decorative elements to add texture, dimension and plenty of personality without overwhelming the design.

The sweet Highland cow embellishments scattered throughout the page tie everything together and perfectly capture the charm of the day. Finally, I positioned my title at the bottom of the layout to anchor the entire design, giving the page a balanced and grounded finish.

This layout is a lovely reminder that you don't need complicated techniques to tell a meaningful story. A thoughtful combination of patterned papers, layered embellishments and treasured photographs is all it takes to preserve a memory you'll enjoy looking back on for years to come.
If you'd like, I can also make it sound more conversational, magazine-style, or suitable for a scrapbook manufacturer's design team blog.
Thanks for joining me today.
Until next time,
