Summer Vibes Scrapbook Layout - Wendy Meffan

Summer Is here and Bramble Fox have released their Summer Collection of perspextives! I will always have Summer photos to scrap and their vibrant colours are perfect for those holiday snaps! I have used Simple Stories Just Beachy Collection which coordinates perfectly to the perspextives. I have also used the new stencil #122 for my layout.

I chose four photos from my recent trip to the Maldives and matted them on a coloured background paper. I matted them a second time to create some dimension and tore the bottom edge of the paper. I then tore a 12x12 paper from a Hip Kit Club collection to create a large back ground piece which I attached my photo mat to.

I really loved the stencil and decide to use distress oxides on to velum. I used Mustard Seed, Scattered Straw, Kitsch Flamingo and Picked Raspberry for the flowers. For the green palms I used Pine Needles distress oxide. These colours helped bring in more vibrancy to the layout other than just the blue and yellow from the photos.

I used the gorgeous Geo Tag with the sunbed centre above the photo strip. Having fussy cut all the flowers and leaves from the velum I tucked a few in behind the Geo Tag.

I placed the Summer Vibes perspextive under the photos as a title.

At the end of the photos I tucked a tag behind them, added some twine and then tucked in a few more velum fussy cut flowers and leaves. I dotted the Little Fish perspextives from the Summer Collection in the flowers.

I roughed the edges of the torn paper and tucked a border of the flowers and leaves under the top and bottom edges of the paper.
