Wine O'Clock Scrapbook Layout - Wendy Meffan

There’s something about October that makes you want to slow down, get cosy and enjoy the little moments – and what better way to capture that feeling than with a little Wine O’Clock?

For my main title, I used the October Wine O’Clock Perspextive from Bramble Fox. I love how Perspextives make such an impact on a scrapbook page while still allowing the rest of the design to shine.

For this scrapbook page, I used an older Hip Kit Club collection, choosing a selection of patterned papers to complement my photo and the October theme. I cut the papers into a mixture of blocks and strips, layering them to create the base for my page. I also fussy cut some of the pretty flowers from the patterned papers and tucked them around the layers, adding little pops of detail and helping to soften the edges of the paper blocks. I used a single photo and added the Wine O'Clock perpsextive title to the side, adding a couple of wooden Wine Bottle embellishments from the Pub Signs set in the october products.

To create my background, I used Bramble Fox Stencil No. 79 with Distress Oxides, blending the colours through the stencil to add another layer of interest. Once I was happy with the background, I outlined some of the stencilled pattern using a grey fine liner pen. The extra definition really helped the design stand out without making the background feel too busy.

I also added a second title below the photo using the Cheers Perspextive, also from the October collection. It was the perfect finishing touch for this fun, relaxed page.

I really enjoyed combining older supplies with the new October Bramble Fox products. The mix of patterned papers, fussy-cut flowers, inked stencilling and Perspextives creates a page full of layers and little details – perfect for celebrating those Wine O’Clock moments!

Until next time ... Happy Scrapping!
