There’s something so heartwarming about documenting our furry friends, and the Woof & Walkies Perspextives collection was absolutely perfect for capturing this playful memory. For this scrapbook layout, I started with a patterned paper background that instantly set the tone with soft texture and subtle detail. To add more depth behind my embellishments, I used stencil #120 with a gentle application technique to create leafy imagery underneath the laser cut ephemera pieces. This added a lovely layered effect without overwhelming the page.

To build the design, I placed two angled pieces of contrasting patterned papers across the top and bottom sections of the layout. These diagonal layers help guide the eye through the page while giving it a fun and dynamic feel. I positioned my photo at the bottom edge of the top paper section, creating a focal point that naturally connects both areas of the design.
Along the left side of the upper section, I added extra texture and interest with an adhered zip, decorative tabs, and some fancy hand stitching. These details bring a tactile, handmade feel that works beautifully with the playful theme. Around the photo, I clustered labels, laser cuts, and ticket embellishments before adding the “Woof” Perspextive title piece along with a die-cut ampersand for extra dimension.

On the lower section, I incorporated the “Walkies” Perspextive piece and layered lace along the long edge to soften the design. A small embellishment cluster on the left balances the composition perfectly. Finally, I added floral die cuts to both sections of the page to visually tie everything together and create harmony across the entire layout. The finished page feels playful, textured, and full of personality — just like the special memories it holds.

Thanks for joining me today.
Until next time,
