Purr-fectly Sweet Layout: Featuring the New Bramble Fox Kitty Collection | Debbi Tehrani

The moment I saw the new Kitty Collection and Cat Wreath Cut File, I knew I was about to have a purr-fectly fun time in my craft room! These adorable designs instantly sparked inspiration for this playful page featuring our sweet little feline, Sophie. If you’ve followed me for a while, you know I scrap in the 8 x 8 format. That means Bramble Fox products tend to appear a bit larger on my pages—but I love how they really take center stage and add bold visual impact!

The Sweet Kitty title Perspextive (which comes in a pack with a second title, Purrfect, used on this layout) was just right for this photo of our curious cat peeking out from behind a sculpture. I nestled it right into the Cat Wreath, which I cut in crisp white to help all the other elements pop. Bramble Fox cut files are honestly the best—they cut like butter with no snags or tearing, even with intricate designs like this one.

To add softness and extra layers of detail, I used papers, die cuts, and chipboard from Rosie’s Studio’s In the Neighbourhood and Better Together collections. I especially love the mix of textures and how the colors coordinated beautifully with the Bramble Fox pieces. As always, I added a tiny heart—this time layered over a chipboard piece on the photo—because no layout of mine feels complete without a little love. Bramble Fox’s Hearts Galore pack offers a fun mix of colors, shapes, and sizes—perfect for adding a sweet touch to any project.

One detail I especially love is the delicate etching on the Perspextives, like the ball of yarn—it adds just the right bit of texture and charm. I tucked the charming ‘Pretty Kitty’ word strip from the Cat Paper Snips 023 just above the photo to add a sweet, playful touch to the layout.

The tiny word pieces and fishbones in the Kitty Elements pack are so fun and perfectly sized for tucking into the cut file—they add just the right amount of whimsy and detail. I added texture to the background by splattering watered-down gesso, creating subtle white splatters that bring a light, artistic touch to the page.

For an extra bit of fun, I added googly eyes to the cat and mouse on the cut file—because how can you not smile at that? The word strips—lovely, picture perfect, sweet, spread joy—are from the Vintage Sentiments Paper Snips 055, and they brought the perfect finishing touch of charm and storytelling to the page.
