Purrfect: A Scrapbook Layout for Cat Lovers

Who can resist a page full of kittens, color, and cuteness overload? The moment I saw the Kitty Collection from Bramble Fox, I knew I was about to have some serious fun! With playful embellishments, heart-shaped accents, and that bold Purrfect title, this layout came together like a ball of yarn—tangled up in charm and happiness.

To build the foundation of my layout, I turned to a sketch from the Bramble Fox Friends Facebook group. Sketches are always a great starting point for me, and this one provided the purrfect balance for showcasing two sweet photos and plenty of embellishing!

The bold Purrfect Perspextive from the Sweet Kitty pack made an eye-catching title and the perfect focal point for my page. I love how it pops against the colors and layered textures in the background. To complement all the beautiful Bramble Fox elements, I used the Hello It’s Me collection from Rosie’s Studio. The patterns and colors worked seamlessly with the embellishments and helped me pull everything together.

For extra texture and interest, I used the Jumbled Up Stencil in the background with Abandoned Coral Distress Oxide to echo the the tones in the photos and the colors of the products I used. I added some homespun detail with the Stitching Stencil, which gave the layout that handcrafted, snuggly feel.

Including hearts is something I always do when creating a layout that I plan to give away. It’s my little signature—a way of tucking love right into the page. I want the people I scrap for to feel the care and connection behind every layer, every detail. The mustard heart, which matches the Kitty Elements, is from the Vintage Hearts pack. The coral pink heart in the bottom cluster is from the Happy Hearts Pack. The camera an ribbon die cuts are from the Rosie's Studio collection.

I had so much fun adding playful and meaningful touches throughout the page. I placed small Perspextives on top of the award ribbons, this one from the Kitty Elements pack, to make them feel like special little badges of love—and used tiny cameras adorned with gold brads to add a bit of sparkle and dimension. These small embellishments help tell the story in such a charming way and draw attention to the little things that matter most. I also tucked in a few word strips from the Vintage Sentiments Paper Snips to add heartfelt phrases that reinforce the cozy, loving theme of the layout.

One of my favorite little finishing touches is the tiny cat charm I tied onto the twine on the tag. It’s such a small detail, but it brings in a fun bit of texture and character, and reinforces the kitty theme in a subtle, charming way.
