Sea Time | Antonia Sherlock

Hello Crafty Friends, it's Antonia here today with a super-quick and super-easy layout inspired by the July challenge:

I chose a Fabrika Decoru collection for my layout - not only because it was the perfect colour match for my photo, but also because it was the perfect match in theme, too. The photo was taken on our trip to Scotland earlier this year, so no palm trees and flamingos for this layout! Instead, the nautical theme was perfect!

I used two patterned papers for the background, the third one was a cut-apart sheet of tags - that's where the title and the journaling tags came from.

The rest was easy-peasy: I created three layered embellishment clusters using the ephemera pack from the same collection. I added a small sea creature perspextive to each cluster - I chose the orange ones from the pack, because I love how these pop against the blue.

I really wanted to use the anchor acrylic piece on this layout, so I added it to one of the clusters. I counter-balanced it with an older tab shaped perspextive, which is the same colour as the anchor. I added it diagonally opposite on the page. I love how these tie in the darker colours on the layout...

I completed the layout by adding some blue enamel dots... I hope you like my layout. Be sure to play along with our challenge this month to be in with a chance to with a Bramblefox store voucher! Thanks for visiting!
