Dive into a sea of summer inspiration with this beach-themed scrapbook layout featuring Bramble Fox Perspextives, charming Paper Snips, mixed media stenciling, and layers of fun coastal details. Almost everything on this layout came from the July Fox Box Plus — from the awesome title piece and delightful Paper Snips to the cool mixed media stencil and Woodie disks. I added a few extra Bramble Fox goodies, cardstock, and enamel dots to bring this sunny summer page to life.
I created this page to document some of our favorite cruise memories, and all those little details that make beach days special. I scrap in an 8 x 8 format, so Bramble Fox products tend to look a little larger on my layouts than they might on a traditional 12 x 12 page. I love how that gives these gorgeous pieces the chance to really shine!

A Title Worth Diving Into: Making the Title the Star of the Show
One of my favorite parts of this layout is the gorgeous “Summer Stories” title piece from the Fox Box. I love how the two different fonts work so beautifully together, creating both a playful and polished look.
There are so many fun ways to customize these title pieces! You can leave them open to show the background through the letters, fill them with colorful letters like I did here, or even add tiny photos, words, patterned papers, or mixed media details inside the spaces. Another fun feature is that the pack also includes the white letters that were cut out from the Perspextive title. You can tuck those inside the title instead of the colorful letters, for a completely different look, layer them on top for extra dimension, or save them to create another layout later — it’s like getting an extra embellishment tucked inside the package!
For this title, I tucked colorful pieces into the letters to add extra summer personality. I also tore a piece of blue paper and placed it behind the title to help it stand out against the white background and make those beautiful details pop.
💡 Debbi’s Design Tip: A white-on-white design can create a beautiful, crisp, and clean look, but sometimes a white title can get a little lost against a white background. If that happens, try adding contrast behind it! A torn piece of darker patterned paper or cardstock tucked behind the title can help it stand out while still keeping that soft, layered look. On this layout, the blue paper behind the title helps the “Summer Stories” Perspextive become a gorgeous focal point.

Where Texture Meets the Tide: Building the Perfect Beachy Background
I started this layout by creating a background using the mixed media stencil from the Fox Box Plus. Before adding any ink or texture, I laid out my photos and embellishments to figure out how I wanted the page to flow. I lightly traced the elements with pencil so I could build the stenciling around my design.
The Paper Snips in this collection were perfect for adding little pops of beachy storytelling. I especially love the beach sign with all of its colorful directional arrows — it feels like something you would find along a seaside boardwalk.
The colors coordinated beautifully with my beach photos, so I created my own journaling card to match. I also added the “beach” plank Paper Snip to the top of the card and mounted it on pop dots to give it extra dimension.
💡 Debbi’s Design Tip: When using mixed media on a scrapbook page, don’t feel like you have to cover the entire background. Adding small areas of texture and color can create movement while still allowing your photos and embellishments to remain the stars.

Adding Personality with Paper Snips: Little Details That Bring the Beach to Life
The Paper Snips in the Fox Box Plus are packed with the sweetest coastal details. I especially love these weathered dock pilings with the rope, ribbon, signs, and tiny gulls perched on top. They add so much character and make the page feel like a little seaside scene.
I also tucked a seagull Paper Snip peeking into the sunglasses — because sometimes the smallest details create the biggest smiles!
These little embellishments are wonderful for adding storytelling moments throughout a layout. They don’t just decorate the page; they help tell the story of the memories being documented.
💡 Debbi’s Design Tip: Think of your embellishments as little storytellers! Instead of only using decorative pieces to fill empty spaces, look for ways they can add personality or help tell the story behind your photos. A tiny detail like a seagull, beach sign, or pair of sunglasses can transport the viewer right back into the memory and make your layout feel even more meaningful.

Wood, Words & Wonderful Layers: Adding Texture with Woodies and Tiny Details
The wooden discs from the Fox Box Plus were another favorite element on this page. I love how the beautiful etched designs add warmth and texture while bringing a natural beachy feel to the layout.
The phrase strips come from the Vintage Sentiments Paper Snips 055, which are an absolute must-have! The mix of subtle colors and versatile phrases makes them incredibly easy to layer across a page. They work beautifully for my beach layout, but their flexibility means they can be used for almost any theme.
I love how these small phrases add another layer of storytelling without overwhelming the photos.
💡 Debbi’s Design Tip: Don’t underestimate the power of texture on a scrapbook page! Adding different materials — like acrylic, wood, paper, enamel dots, and dimensional embellishments — creates layers of interest that make a layout more engaging. Even small textured pieces, like these Woodies, can add a natural element that helps bring your theme to life.

Fresh Eyes & Final Details: Finishing Touches That Pull Everything Together
I added another wooden disc to the bottom of the page to balance the one near the top. One of my favorite tips is to leave a layout overnight and come back to look at it with fresh eyes.
That’s exactly what I did here! When I returned to the page, I felt like the lower area needed a little something extra, so I added enamel dots in a coral color and blue to bring in more texture and pulled in the aqua color from the final “S” in the title.
These shiny dots added just the right amount of extra color and helped create more balance throughout the page.
💡 Debbi’s Design Tip: If a layout feels like it needs “something,” try adding a few small repeated elements rather than one large embellishment. Tiny details like enamel dots, stickers, or word strips can often be the finishing touch that makes everything feel complete.

A Summer Story Worth Remembering
The starfish embellishments from the Paper Snips add the perfect finishing touch to this coastal scrapbook layout. Their warm persimmon color sits beautifully between coral and red, creating that sun-kissed summer feeling that makes me think of sandy beaches and ocean breezes.

I hope this layout inspires you to document your own summer stories and experiment with layering Bramble Fox products in unexpected ways. The Fox Box Plus is always filled with beautiful pieces that make creating scrapbook pages even more fun!
