We welcome Louise Fortune as our fabulous guest designer this month. Louise really caught our eye with her wonderful layouts. We really like Louise's graphic approach to design to produce really stunning layouts.
We asked Louise a little about her scrapbooking style. Here's what she had to say...
Graphic and ordered is how I would describe my style, I don’t usually do mess or clutter “white space” and clean lines is more my thing, but I am learning to embrace the layering.
A few of my designs have been published in JOT magazine and I was lucky to have previously designed and taught for GOGO Getaways.
We certainly like Louise's style!
Louise tells us that her pages mostly feature her teenage sons and her two border terrier fur babies. For her first layout, Louise has scrapped one of her sons but has gone away from a typical boy layout!
Proving that PINK can feature heavily on a boy layout, accented by warm yellows oranges and gold. The smart navy of the Perspextive “Totally Rad” creates an eye catching title and is tied into the design by the navy pattern on one of the frames along with the navy journaling. The straight lines of all the frames is easily broken up by the layering and angled placement along with a couple of flair’s.
You can find more work from Louise on her blog: scrapbookprintables.wordpress.com
Louise will be back later this month to share another layout that she created just for us!
