I'm a fourth grade teacher, and I've been making pages to give to each of my students as gifts, and I'm sharing one of them today. The tone-on-tone rainbow technique is so popular right now, and when I got the awesome rainbow in the Fox Box, I knew just what to do. This little girl has a very colorful personality, so this Perspextive was perfect on her layout. I scrap 8 x 8, so the Perspextives will look larger on my pages than they do on a 12 x 12 page.
I started my page by backing a cut file with patterned paper scraps in all the colors of the rainbow. I lightly traced the clouds onto my white cardstock and labeled the colors inside the traced cloud so I'd know where to paint the watercolors to match the clouds. I then adhered the clouds and searched through my puffy stickers and word stickers for embellishments in all the rainbow colors.
How awesome is that Bramble Fox rainbow? I love the frosty translucence.
You'll definitely want to subscribe to the Fox Box, but even if you don't, you can still buy that awesome Rainbow separately! I know I'll be buying more for future layouts! Until next time, stay colorful!
