Paradise in Paros!

Hi there Foxy Friends!

Today I'm sharing a 12x12 layout featuring my youngest daughter and friends enjoying life on the Greek Island of Paros, lucky girls! The July Fox Box has some great perspextives perfect for documenting summer holidays and days out. I chose OH yeah! I also wanted to use a geo tag and 'smile' from my stash.

My background paper is from the Color Fresh collection by Heidi Swapp. I pulled out some ephemera die cuts from the Vicki Boutin Color Kaleidoscope collection as the colours were perfect! My photos are mounted on papers from Simple Stories Sunshine and Blue Skies collection. I'm loving pom pom trim right now and I've got lots of colours in my stash!

I often cut away some of the white border on die cut ephemera pieces to make them stand out more as you can see on the flower spray (above).

I love maps and can't resist buying an atlas whenever I see one in a charity shop! I tore out a strip showing the island of Paros which I marked with the geo tag.

I added a few orange threads and machine stitched around the edge of the page and my layout was complete!
