Escape the ordinary!

Hi Foxy friends!

I've loved using the August Fox Box! My youngest daughter has had an amazing summer, making so many great memories and exploring new places, lucky girl! The make great memories perspextive was perfect for my layout!

I love a bit of mixed media so I started by adding acrylic paint to my white cardstock using the bag technique. I stamped on top of the paint once dry, using Distress Oxide inks with a compass and postcard stamp. I had some of the Vicki Boutin Colour Kaleidoscope papers on my desk and the colours went really well with the background I'd created!

I chose to use three photographs of my daughter and her friends in full on holiday mode in Greece and Croatia. I knew I wanted to use the Subscriber Exclusive swimmers perspextives and decided to string them on a washing line!

The fishes are from the A Little Fishy petite perspective set. Check these and other petite perspectives out in the store, they are all fab for adding that extra little embellishment to your layouts.

Having completed my layout I decided I wanted to add some colour at the edges so I trimmed my cardstock and mounted it on the stripey paper, I think it really makes the pink bikini

stand out!
