Flamingo Fun!

Hi everyone, I'm up on the blog again with another summer LO, using the Joie de Vie perspextive from the September Fox Box. I've also been stash busting using up some of the Midnight Collection from Cocoa vanilla Studio as the colours in it was a perfect combination for my photos. I backed all the photos using project life size cards cut from the paper pad.

I have recently admired all the hand stitching on many different LO so thought I would create the sea in coordinating colours in chain stitch.It is no exaggeration to say it took me about 6 hours! I will certainly think carefully when I consider sewing in the future!

I had a few other random perpsextives in my stash and was very happy to find the flamingo which I added to a small cluster of palm leaves in the corner.I used dies with my big shot for these.

The pink sunglasses perspextive from the June Fox box was also perfect in colour to add to this LO.

Finally I used another mini die and cut the swirls on my big shot again giving the idea of wind and waves and tucked them behind the photos. Using up more stash i found the light blue HAPPY perspective which again coordinated really well.
