Halloween Fun

Halloween is such a fun time of the year. My kids are too old to trick or treat so I have to rely on more grown up photos.

I've gone for a more sophisticated look for my layout. I have a bunch of old stamps featuring chandeliers. After stamping them around, I hand drew beaded garlands to add more detail.

To add a little colour, I used Seedless Preserves Distress Oxide ink. I then added tiny black gems to add a little dimension.

I stamped a border and then layered lace under my photos. I also stamped the chandeliers to tie in with the top left hand corner. To create the garlands, I drew around the scallops of the torn border template using a fine liner. I then handrew the small black 'beads'.

To finish, I added a couple of strips of torn paper and layered more lace. The fabulous Trick or Treat title finishes off the layout.
