Moments Captured with Virginia
Hi Foxy friends, Virginia here with a new project and a process video to share with you. Today I felt like creating a very colourful and springy layout and I chose to use a lovely cut file in the shape of a photo camera. I also featured some of the fantastic perspextives included in the March 2020 Fox Box.

I cut out the lens of the camera and I replaced it with my photo, then I proceeded to back the cut file with beautiful patterned paper designed by Paige Evans. After backing most of it, I glued it on the floral paper that fills the body of the camera with adhesive foam, in order to raise it a little bit: this allows the flowers and the lens to cast a little shadow on the floral patterned paper and gives much more dimension to layout.

Then I created a sort of burst of flowers – instead of light – coming out of the flash of the camera. To do so, I tore the background paper, I backed the cut with another floral paper and I rolled outwards the torn edges. Then I glued lots of colourful flowers and leaves inside and outside the cut. I really love how it turned out!

I used the acrylic pieces saying “Moments Captured” as a title and I glued them on the top right corner of my big camera. I also added a couple of acrylic photo frames (they are adorable!), which are perfect dimensional embellishments.

I finished up the project sprinkling colourful enamel dots onto the page. I went enamel dot crazy! :)

I hope you liked my layout. You can find a process video for it on the Bramble Fox Youtube channel. Do not forget to subscribe for continuous inspiration!
This is all for now. See you soon!
