Hi there friends. How are you? Are you keeping yourself occupied at home? It is a stressful time for all. I find my daily escape with my dog and the lovely spring weather is such a good stress reliever. Like many people, I often get bogged down in the day to day of everyday life but when I see the spring flowers, it has a real calming effect on me.
The May Fox Box has some of the cutest designs yet. It was a change from my original plan for May - those designs will be more appropriate once we are free to move about again. Instead, I created more general titles because I'm sure we are all scrapping different memories of happier times.
I fussy cut the pretty flowers on this Jen Hadfield Hey, Hello paper. To ground them on the page a little, I had a go at watercolouring some leaves which I think worked well. I can't draw for toffee but a few simple leaves are within my limits!
The tiny and uber-cute typewriter in the May Fox Box is perfect for a tiny message. It's a reminder to me that I should stop and smell the flowers on my walk rather than just whizz past!
I also fussy cut the beautiful gold embossed butterflies from Vicki Boutin's Wild Flower & Honey collection. I've been hoarding this vellum for quite some time!
You'll also notice there are some new Perspextives that will be in the shop very shortly. It's the sweetest little pack of flowers and butterfly Perspextives - great for sprinkling on your page.
So that's my layout for this week - I hope I have inspired you to scrap something quite ordinary that perhaps we take for granted.
We have increased the number of Fox Boxes for this month so if you do fancy a little treat you can see all the details here.
Be sure to subscribe to the newsletter and join us on our Facebook Group - Bramble Fox Friends. We will be announcing our activities for National Scrapbook Day (NSD) the first weekend of May, plus new designs and special offers! Yay!
