Adventure to Malawi! - Wendy Meffan

Hi Everyone ! It's Wendy here again sharing my second layout for September and I'm using a few of the Wildlife Collection perspextives along with the August foxbox Adventure and Globe perspextives. I also used bits from Paper Strips #10. The Wildlife Collection came just at the right time for my daughter going on a mission to Malawi this Summer. I do love a travel layout and so wanted to make the first layout about her trip purely about the travelling.

I have an old atlas and as I do love a map on a layout , I ripped out the Africa page which had Malawi on it to use as the main background. I then decided to edge the paper with a bit of animal print paper and a plain coloured paper. The Adventure perspextive was perfect from the August FoxBox as this was a huge adventure for Daisy. To make it stand out I backed it in the same paper I tucked into the side of the map. I chose the green colour as it pulled out the colour of the plane tail and the grass area in the bottom photo in Malawi.

I positioned the two top photos and put some animal print paper behind, I then used some of the Paper Snips #10 phrase strips above the picture.

Then I attached the Adventure perspextive under the photos.

To the right of the top photo there was the perfect space to add the Alligator perspextive which also worked well with the See ya later Alligator phrase I had used.

I added the bottom photo which was taken in Malawi and added some corresponding coloured papers behind, I punched out the Africa map and added that again below the picture and then added the Giraffe perspextive from the Wildlife Collection and the Globe perspextive from the August Foxbox. I just love how all the perspextives are inter changeable each month with previous perspextives. There is always a good way to use up stash!

I have many travel collections which are partially used altogether in a bag which I look through and pull out embellishments from to finish of my travel layouts, they are not all from one collection to name, which is what I have done to finish this layout off.

I hope you will feel inspired that the Wildlife Collection doesn't have to be used only with animal photos but can be incorporated into many situations.

Do check the www.bramblefox.co.uk website for all the new exciting perspextives which are coming out all the time, also remember to keep using up the older ones to make room for new!

Till next time... Happy Scrapping!
