Adding layers to your scrapbook page will give dimension and interest. Paper Snips are the perfect way to achieve this.
In my layout I have used a full set of Paper Snips #041 and lots of pieces from the October Fox Box plus. I also used the Torn Edge ruler and Circle Templates that are currently available in the Bramble Fox Shop.
I began this layout by making a frame out of patterned paper. It measures 1cm along the bottom edge and the two sides, I wanted to make the top much wider and chose to use the Torn Edge ruler to give it a distressed look.
For anyone that doesn't know, Fox Box is a little box of loveliness that is posted out each month to the Bramble Fox subscribers, Fox Box plus is the Fox Box along with a Stencil and Paper Snips which all match perfectly.
I distressed the edge of the circle and began tucking the fussy cut leaves underneath. I added small pieces of cheese cloth for additional texture.
The 'Autumn' title fit perfectly onto the circle, it is a beautiful Autumnal mustard colour and matches the tones in the leaves.
Once I was happy with the amount of leaves attached to the circle, I adhered it to my layout.
I began working on my photo cluster. I wanted to make sure this had as much texture and dimension as the circle cluster.
I matted the photo then added three paper layers. I tucked the rest of my fussy cut leaves and more cheese cloth. I love the rustic Autumn look this has created.
The Wordfetti is from the Fox Box.
For a final bit of texture, I used Stencil #78 and Gold Paste to add the Autumn words that you can see to the left of my photo cluster.
As always, I used gold splatters!
