Autumnal 12 x 12 Layout - Wendy Meffan

This autumnal layout uses the October Fox Box perspextives along with Paper Snips #042 and Fox Cut Stencil #78. ( Fox Box Plus) These coordinated perfectly with Pinkfresh Studio Good Times Collection and the colours were fabulous.

I used the 12x12 grid paper from the collection and then added a central striped strip. I added Bramblefox pompoms to the edges of the strip. I used a craft knife to cut the stripes of the centre section and distressed all the edges and then stuck all the stripes back down using sticky fixers.

I chose two beautiful Autumnal photos and attached them to the centre piece. To the right I added the gorgeous

Autumn perspextive from the October Fox Box. I created three clusters using the fussy cut Paper Snips #042 and Fox Box perspextives.

On the grid paper i used texture paste through the stencil using the tiny leaves. Once they were dry I painted the leaves gold to give a beautiful Autumn feel. ( the photographs do not do this justice) I created another cluster using some older material leaves from Bramble fox and added the super cute Fox perspextive .

At the top of the layout I created another cluster to balance the page.

I have found that cutting up the whole page of Paper Snips makes it much easier to use them as i can position them around the layout and move them quite easily rather than trying to choose straight from the sheet. Maybe try cutting up the whole sheet before you start a layout and see where you go with it.
