Beautiful Places Scrapbook Layout - Wendy Meffan

Our holiday in Aruba was filled with sunshine, stunning scenery, and unforgettable memories, making it the perfect inspiration for this “Beautiful Places” scrapbook layout. Designed with a collection of photos arranged in a clean block format, this page beautifully captures some of our favourite moments from this incredible Caribbean destination.

The background was created using the latest Bramble Fox Compass Stencil No. 140, which was the ideal choice for a travel-themed design. I blended 49 and Market Just Peachy ink through the stencil to create a soft pink compass pattern, adding subtle colour and texture to the page. I then outlined the design with a grey finel ine pen to define the details and give the background extra depth.

I arranged multiple photographs in a structured block design to showcase highlights from our trip to Aruba. This tidy arrangement keeps the focus on the images while allowing the decorative elements to frame the memories without overwhelming them.

To embellish the layout, I used pieces from the Simple Stories Happy Travels collection. I clustered travel-themed accents around the photos, adding layers of detail and reinforcing the adventure theme. The gorgeous pink “Beautiful Places” perspextive title from the Travel Notes set was the perfect choice, reflecting the breathtaking landscapes and crystal-clear waters of Aruba.

To complete the page, I added a large pink geo tag and camera, along with the charming Summer Globe woodie from the Travel Woodies collection. Together, these elements create a vibrant and meaningful keepsake that celebrates our wonderful Aruba holiday and the beautiful places we were lucky enough to explore.
