Bloom and Grow - Wendy Meffan

Hi Everyone! It's Wendy here sharing my second layout for April and this time I'm using a selection of the latest April products. I have chosen to use the In the Garden perspextives set, along with the Bloom and Grow Titles perspextives. I've also added a few butterflies from an older Flutterby collection (still available). For the background I used the Fox Cut Stencil #49 Brick Wall. To embellish I've used a combination of Flower Market and Spring Vibes Collections from Pink fresh Studio.

I started my layout by using Fox Cut stencil #49 Brick Wall and created the background using Salt Water taffy distress oxide. Then I made a frame in white card stock as a template and cut three using papers from Flower Market by Pinkfresh Studio. I distressed all the edges and then attached the photos behind each frame. I coordinated my colours to go with the perspextives!

I proceeded to create small clusters incorporating the perspextives and wood veneer fences around the layout, I used flower ephemera from Spring Vibes and also fussy cut some of the pink floral leaves from one of the papers. I started at the bottom corners of the photos as I wanted to sit the cute little fences either side. Having done this I added the mini butterfly perspextives as well. To give dimension i raised a few pieces on sticky fixers.

I am a great lover of tags so cut a couple in different papers and tucked them in above and below the photos, I then added some more floral ephemera around them to embellish and also the cute Watering Can perspextive.

I added the Bloom and Grow title perspextive over the top of the photos and at the bottom added the large Garden perspextive title along with the mini script nature perspextive.

The little spade and fork perspextives were so so gorgeous I knew I had to get them onto the layout somewhere so hung them down from the right top corner of the photos! Around them I created another floral cluster with some fussy cut leaves and then added a couple more butterflies.

Over all I loved how this layout turned out and was pleased to use so many of the perspextives in the collections!

Until next time... Happy Scrapping!
