Celebrate | Ali Skifton
Happy Summer everyone! I am so excited about the warmer weather and all the celebrations that happen outside during these next few months. One of those big celebrations includes a birthday party for my school friends and me. My parents threw us a big birthday party in their backyard last month, and it was an amazing celebration of all our birthdays this year, since we all turned 50! Not only did we celebrate our birthdays together this year, but also 36 plus years of friendship.

The Celebrate perspextive was perfect since we were celebrating our birthdays and many years of friendship. The picture of the girls and me blowing our blow horns with our party hats on is one of my favorites taken at the party.

I joined the July challenge and used one photo, 2 tags and 3 or more different patterned papers. It was such a fun challenge to complete. I used the Pinkfresh Studio Happy Blooms collection and cut strips of paper and curled them at the ends with a pencil. I wanted the papers to look like the blow horns we were blowing in the picture. I sewed two straight lines across the top with my sewing machine to tack all the papers down.

I added a few flowers die cuts around the photo and on the right bottom of my layout. I tucked in 2 pretty tags behind the photo. I also added a few happy birthday flairs from Scrappin Happy Studio.
I hope you all enjoy this fun layout and hope you can join the July Challenge this month. Don't forget to post your layouts in the Facebook group!
Love, Ali
xoxo
