Cherish The Little Things | Cheryl Gerhard

Hey Bramble Fox friends! Cheryl here on this Sunday morning showing you my layout I created for June’s Mix It Up challenge.

We had to mix up collections and embellishments and I absolutely loved this one. It’s a great way of using random bits in your stash and turn them into a wonderful layout.

I decided to mix two paper collections: Round Trip by Maggie Holmes and Miami Peach by The Mint Feather. They are both very different, as one is a travel collection, while the other one is full of fun summer embellishments. The colours matched perfectly and I think together they look like it was meant to be.

I created two clusters on my page, with the bigger one being the main focus of my layout. Of course, I had to feature my cat Lexie again, have you noticed this ongoing theme in my layouts?! I used a lot of the beautiful floral pieces and added lots of layering behind and around my photo.

I used this beautiful title “Cherish The Little Things” from the May Fox Box subscription box. It’s the most beautiful shade of purple and the matching hearts were a perfect addition to my second, smaller cluster in the top left corner. I also added my all time favourite mini hearts, which can be purchased here. The white arrow can also be found here and I’ve had it in my Bramble Fox stash for a while, waiting to be mixed with the May perspextives on this layout! I finished my page with white paint splatters.
