Chippy Tea! Scrapbook Layout - Wendy Meffan

There’s something so nostalgic about a day at the coast, and the Chippy Tea and By the Seaside Perspextives were the perfect finishing touches for this beach-inspired scrapbook layout. I wanted to capture those happy seaside memories with a design that feels bright, layered, and full of texture.

To keep the focus on the photo, I chose one large 4x4 image as the central feature of the page. The larger photo allows the story to take centre stage while giving me plenty of space to build clusters of embellishments around it.

I used the two titles from the Chippy Tea set from July products above and below my photo. I added elements from the Beach Huts set , those seagulls are so cute!

For the main design, I reached for the gorgeous 49 and Market Beach Vibes collection, which perfectly complements the relaxed coastal theme. I also used the 49 and Market / Sizzix Creative Combo Dies to cut a

selection of tags, tabs, and clips, adding extra layers and interest throughout the page. These little details help create depth without overwhelming the focal photo.

One of my favourite additions is the adorable Beach Huts Perspextive Set from the Bramble Fox July release. These sweet embellishments add a fun seaside feel and tie the whole design together beautifully.

To create a subtle mixed media background, I used Bramble Fox Stencil 113 with Ranger Distress Oxide in Spiced Marmalade. The warm orange tones bring a sunny glow to the layout while adding just enough texture behind the layers.

To finish everything off, I added a few splatters of Ranger Distress Oxide in Ground Espresso. These final details bring movement and contrast to the page, helping all the elements work together while giving the layout a relaxed, artistic finish.

This layout is a wonderful reminder of carefree seaside adventures and the little moments that become treasured memories.
