Cute as They Come! - Wendy Meffan

Hi Everyone! It's Wendy here sharing my second layout for February using the February Fox Box and Paper Snips #019. I have used a mixture of Pinkfresh Studio Collections from the Hip Kit Club and the dies from the November 2022 hip kit. I also used the Puffy Sticker Wax Seals from the Delightful collection by Pinkfresh Studio.

I just loved the latest floral Paper Snips #019 and the gorgeous pastel colours so I fussy cut the whole sheet and decided they would be the main focus of my layout! I made my photo black and white so it wouldn't clash with the gorgeous pastel colours.

I made a pale mixed media back ground using distress oxides and Campbella paints using the smooshing technique. Then I chose three strips of pastel card stock from various paper collections and cut them to different lengths, I distressed their edges and sewed them onto the layout. I then attached my photo centrally.

To the bottom right of the photo I added the largest floral cluster I had fussy cut from the Paper Snips #019 and

then embellished around it using white floral die cuts, puffy stickers and a chipboard frame. I then added a turquoise Bramblefox Heart perspextive into the frame.

Similarly to the left of the photo I used the next largest floral cluster and added a couple of the individual flowers cut from the Paper Snips as well as a few of the single leaves, I added another chipboard frame and puffy sticker wax seal. Over the top of the photo I placed the cute little Speech Bubble perspextive with the heart cut out, along with the gorgeous pink Love perspextive as a title under the photo.

Finally to the top right of the photo I made another cluster using another chipboard frame, floral dies and the fussy cut flowers from the Paper Snips again. I added another heart die cut and over the top placed the cute white Love You Always Ticket perspextive. This perspextive is absolutely gorgeous especially with the etched Love You Always on it, to the side I added a final pink heart perspextive.

I love how this layout turned out and really love the soft effect of all the pastel colours. It is perfect how the Paper Snips coordinate with the perspextives in the Fox Box.

Until next time ..... Happy Scrapping!
