Everyday feels like the Weekend Layout - Wendy Meffan

The scrapbook layout I have created is very colourful an fun. This travel layout I have created was from a recent trip. The titles in the March Fox Box and February products have been brilliant for me. I do like to pack a lot onto my layouts and I couldn't choose between all these titles so used them all! The Paper Snips #053 were perfect and coordinated really well with 49 and Market Vintage Artistry Sunburst Collection I used. Do you scrapbook because you like a picture or to tell a story to be remembered? I am trying to give glimpses of my life so our future generations will have an understanding of our lives. I have no real knowledge of my previous generations which I find quite hard.

I wanted to use the Everyday and Weekend perspextives and creating a phrase with them worked well, it was also unusual for us to be in Cabopino for weekdays rather than weekends but it still had the same vibe. I used a set of black Thickers and some mini Alphabet Stickers to create the title using a variety of fonts. I added some of the fussy cut pieces from the Paper Snips #053 and also a cloud from Paper Snips #034.

Using different papers from the the 49 and Market Vintage Artistry Sunburst Collection I matted the photo, then layered three more papers underneath and tore the lower edges to give texture and dimension to the layout. I placed the photo centrally adding the pale pink tab perspextive from the March FoxBox, I threaded twine through it, and then fussy cut the tab from the Paper Snips adding it to the top right corner of the photo.

To the right of the photo I embellished with some laser cut ephemera from the collection and then added the Good Vibes Perspextive over the top. I added a word phrase from the Paper Snips and a chipboard phrase from the paper collection.

To the left I used an Epoxy flair from the Paper Snips along with the camera and Today was Awesome tab which I fussy cut. I added another larger laser cut palm tree from the paper collection. Again over the top of this I added the Good Life Perspextive from the new February products. I felt these large title perspextives either side of the photo balanced the layout.

At the very top of the layout I added the last two tabs from the Paper Snips, a word phrase and a couple of laser cut flowers. I am not good at leaving white space so always add a little bit more!
